Go to thankyou.com to transfer your thankyou points to Flying Blue, which should be immediately showing up in your Flying Blue account in most cases. Then go to Air France, select “Book With Miles” tab. The long haul leg flight can be either Air France or KLM, depending on your destination cities.
One the long haul leg, you will be flying with Air France Business Class Boeing 777 or KLM Business Class Boeing 777. With Air France, the 777 business class cabin stretches from rows 1-8 and consists of a total of 30 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 reverse-herringbone configuration.
Each seat measures 21 inches wide, offers 42 inches of pitch and reclines to a fully flat position. Seats on either side of the aircraft are obviously ideal for solo travelers, since there’s an aisle between those seats and the center section.
The middle seats are better for those traveling with a companion, but also provide a decent amount of privacy thanks to a divider that can be raised between the two seats.
On the other hand, KLM Boeing 777 business class is laid out in a 2–2–2 configuration, with five rows on the left side and center of the cabin and four along the right side, then that single row of six behind the galleys.
There are 34 seats total. Each seat is 20 inches wide and has 63 inches of pitch, but reclines to a full length of 78 inches.
The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
