On the long haul leg of the flight, you will be flying with either Lufthansa Business Class Airbus A350 or Air China Business Class Boeing 777. Lufthansa A350’s lie-flat seats are arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration. While less than ideal since not all passengers had direct aisle access, the cabin does feel modern and fresh.
Air China has fully flat beds in business class on the 777-300ER, in a 2-2-2 configuration. They’re slightly better than standard forward facing flat bed seats since they’re all slightly angled away from the aisle, making the seats a bit more private than usual. The foot cubbies are small in theory in that you place your feet between the seats in front of you. However, the leg area is much more spacious since your entire lower body doesn’t have to go into the “cubby,” but rather just your feet.
The purchase qualifies for the Star Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
Even though you can probably save a few bucks by booking with some of the budget websites, we recommend booking directly with airline’s website to ensure better customer service post sales. Deals so good wouldn’t last. So, act fast!
