Your long haul leg of the flight will be on Air Europa Business Class Boeing 787. The older version of 787 is in 2-2-2 configuration but the newer version of 787 is in 1-2-1 configuration. When we tried to do a dummy purchase on their website, and seat assignment map did show us a 2-2-2 configuration.
Air Europa has a total of 22 business class seats on their 787-8s. These seats are spread across four rows in a 2-2-2 configuration (the center section only has three rows). Air Europa uses a really unusual configuration. All the seats are in pairs and each pair of seats is angled slightly towards one another. This is how the seats look like in the 2-2-2 configuration aircraft.
The purchase qualifies for the SkyTeam Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
Even though you can probably save a few bucks by booking with some of the budget websites, we recommend booking directly with airline’s website to ensure better customer service post sales. Deals so good wouldn’t last. So, act fast!
