For your long haul leg of the flight, you will be flying with either KLM Business Class Boeing 787 or Air France Business Class Boeing 787.
Air France’s 787-9’s feature three classes of service: business, premium economy and economy. The business-class cabin stretches from rows 1-8 and consists of a total of 30 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 reverse-herringbone configuration.
Each seat measures 21 inches wide, offers 42 inches of pitch and reclines to a fully flat position. Seats on either side of the aircraft are obviously ideal for solo travelers, since there’s an aisle between those seats and the center section.
On the other hand, KLM’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner offers 30 lie-flat seats in Business Class, 48 recliner seats in Premium Economy Class, and 216 seats in Economy Class. Located in one cabin in the front section of the plane, the 30 Business Class seats are spread over 8 rows and arranged in an excellent 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout. The seats on the side angle out toward the windows while those in the plane’s center are angled toward one another. This configuration maximizes privacy and ensures direct aisle access for all passengers.
The purchase qualifies for the Sky Team Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
Even though you can probably save a few bucks by booking with some of the budget websites, we recommend booking directly with airline’s website to ensure better customer service post sales. Deals so good wouldn’t last. So, act fast!
