On the long haul leg of the flight, you will be flying either Air France Business Class Airbus A350, KLM Business Class Boeing 787 or Delta Business Class Airbus A350.
Air France A350-900 model configures with 34 business seats in a 1-2-1 layout. The seats themselves are essentially the Polaris product that United has been installing throughout its long-haul fleet. This configuration allows for direct aisle access at each seat, but not all seats are equal in this cabin. Because of the staggered layout some have inherently more privacy than others; especially if you’re traveling alone, it’s something to consider when choosing a seat.
KLM’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner offers 30 lie-flat seats in Business Class, 48 recliner seats in Premium Economy Class, and 216 seats in Economy Class. Located in one cabin in the front section of the plane, the 30 Business Class seats are spread over 8 rows and arranged in an excellent 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout. The seats on the side angle out toward the windows while those in the plane’s center are angled toward one another. This configuration maximizes privacy and ensures direct aisle access for all passengers.
Delta’s A350s have 32 seats in business class in a staggered 1-2-1 configuration. Each suite in business class has direct aisle access and a sliding door that offers additional privacy. All seats face forward.
The purchase qualifies for the SkyTeam Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
Even though you can probably save a few bucks by booking with some of the budget websites, we recommend booking directly with airline’s website to ensure better customer service post sales. Deals so good wouldn’t last. So, act fast!
