On the long haul leg of the flights, you will either fly with Air France Business Class Airbus A330 or KLM Business Class Airbus A330.
Air France recently finished retrofitting its A330 fleet, with each aircraft now featuring a total of 36 business class seats, spread over six rows in 2-2-2 configuration. These seats are made by Stelia Aerospace and feature fully lie-flat beds, though lack the privacy (even with a sliding partition between seats) of Air France’s Cirrus reverse herringbone 1-2-1 configuration on its Boeing 777 and 787 jets (or even its Zodiac Optima seats on its Airbus A350 fleet).
On the other hand, KLM Airbus A330 business class is laid out in a 2–2–2 configuration, with five rows on the left side and center of the cabin and four along the right side, then that single row of six behind the galleys.
There are 34 seats total. Each seat is 20 inches wide and has 63 inches of pitch, but reclines to a full length of 78 inches.
The purchase qualifies for the Sky Team Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
Even though you can probably save a few bucks by booking with some of the budget websites, we recommend booking directly with airline’s website to ensure better customer service post sales. Deals so good wouldn’t last. So, act fast!
