On the long haul leg of the flights, you will be flying with either SWISS Business Class Airbus A340 or Lufthansa Business Class Airbus A340.
With Swiss Airlines’ Airbus A340, it features about five different seat configurations, as the cabin alternates between a 1-2-2 and a 2-2-1 configuration. This means every row has one so-called “throne” seat alone by the windows, two seats in the middle, and a pair of seats on the other side of the plane.
With Lufthansa Business Class Airbus A340, its lie-flat seats are arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration. While less than ideal since not all passengers had direct aisle access, the cabin does feel modern and fresh.
The purchase qualifies for the Star Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
