Some dates are more than 34k miles. To find dates charging only 34k, decide your month by selecting any date of the month, and then click on “monthly view of flights”. It will bring up required miles for economy of each day of that month. If the economy costs you 17k miles, business class will cost you 34k for that day, if the business class is available for that day.
I found there are very limited dates with business class seats available in the months in 2023. However, there are a lot more availabilities in the months in 2024.
