It will be easiest to search one way at a time. Look for dates at 99k one-way and then sort and filter to find your flights. Booking with Air Canada Sign up for a free Aeroplan account and log in to see a one-week view of fares. Select “Book with points” & search for the exact number of passengers flying. After searching, filter for “Business Class” and “Nonstop” flights. You can also filter by airline. Booking with Virgin You need to call Virgin at 1-800-365-9500 to book with Virgin points. You can’t book online with Virgin (and you can’t book IAH flights period). Give the agent the exact you found on United’s website. Transfer points only after you’ve confirmed the flights are available with Virgin. Transfers are instant, just ask an agent to stay on the line until your points hit your account. You can cancel and get a full refund. ANA charges a 3k miles redeposit fee to cancel your flight. No cash penalty. Avianca charges a $150 change fee or a $200 cancellation fee. You’ll need to call to change/cancel with LifeMiles and it can be a painful experience. |
