One the long haul leg, you will be flying with Air France Business Class Boeing 787 or KLM Business Class Boeing 777. With Air France, the 787 Dreamliner business class cabin stretches from rows 1-8 and consists of a total of 30 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 reverse-herringbone configuration. Each seat measures 21 inches wide, offers 42 inches of pitch and reclines to a fully flat position. Seats on either side of the aircraft are obviously ideal for solo travelers, since there’s an aisle between those seats and the center section. The middle seats are better for those traveling with a companion, but also provide a decent amount of privacy thanks to a divider that can be raised between the two seats.
On the other hand, KLM Boeing 777 business class is laid out in a 2–2–2 configuration, with five rows on the left side and center of the cabin and four along the right side, then that single row of six behind the galleys. There are 34 seats total. Each seat is 20 inches wide and has 63 inches of pitch, but reclines to a full length of 78 inches.
The purchase qualifies for the Sky Team Alliance mile and status accumulations. The ticket includes priority check-in, airport lounge access, business class meals, two pieces of checked in luggage, amenity kit, and wines, champagne and other beverages.
Even though you can probably save a few bucks by booking with some of the budget websites, we recommend booking directly with airline’s website to ensure better customer service post sales. Deals so good wouldn’t last. So, act fast!
